The material, thickness, and diameter of the casters are different, and their load-bearing capacity will be different, especially the material has a particularly obvious influence on the load-bearing. For example, nylon casters and plastic casters of the same diameter have a big difference in load-bearing capacity. For casters of the same diameter, generally manufacturers will produce several series for different load-bearing, such as light, medium, heavy, super heavy, etc. The specific method of purchase is to make the wheels and brackets have different thicknesses or materials, and count as a single caster. When the ground is relatively flat, a single caster load = (total weight of the equipment ÷ number of casters installed) × 1.2 (insurance factor); if the ground is uneven, the algorithm is: single caster load = The total weight of the equipment ÷ 3, because no matter what kind of uneven ground, there are always at least three wheels supporting the equipment at the same time. This algorithm is equivalent to an increase in the insurance coefficient, which is more reliable, and prevents the caster life from being greatly reduced or accidents due to insufficient weight bearing.
