In nylon industrial casters, it is directly related to the moisture content of the material and the strength of the material. The newly injection molded nylon industrial casters are generally dried and the moisture content is basically below 0.03%. The impact strength of the dry material will be very poor at this time, and the performance is relatively brittle. In a certain humidity environment, the material will absorb moisture naturally, and the impact strength will continue to increase as the moisture content increases.

However, industrial production generally does not leave the product for three months before shipping, and the natural moisture absorption will be unstable. For example, with high humidity in spring and summer, and low humidity in autumn and winter, the natural moisture absorption effect is definitely different. Therefore, putting the product in boiling water for a certain period of time is to let the material absorb moisture stably in a short period of time.

Nylon industrial caster plastic has good hygroscopicity, and it needs to be dried before processing. Generally, the drying temperature is 90-110 degrees, and it is dried for 4-6 hours. Wanda reminds everyone here that in order to obtain good toughness after processing and achieve the better performance of nylon, casters should be immersed in water for more than 24 hours or boiled for more than 3 hours.
